Moonlight Mentorship was born out of my desire to create safe spaces for youth to feel and process their emotions in community. Watch this video to get a feel for who I am and to learn more about the program!

 

The Intention for the year is to:

listen, support, guide, share, and create in community.

What is the Moonlight Mentorship Program?

A cohort of girls and gender non-binary youth between the ages of 11 and 18 who are connected virtually for the 2020-2021 school year to have a safe space to process their emotions and express their fears, joys, hopes, passions and desires with one another. Every other week they’ll have an hour long mentorship session with me (Anna) where we dive into the ins and outs of their lives, discuss the theme of the month, and incorporate any practices that could be helpful for emotional wellbeing. Once a month, we’ll have a group call that centers around the month’s theme where the mentees can share what they’ve learned / whatever they are feeling, and be felt and received by the group. Because there is a potential for a wide range of ages from middle to high school, the intention is that the mentees will mentor and support one another to create intergenerational companionship.

What’s Included?

  • 🌺 Biweekly hour long 1:1 mentorship sessions

  • 🌚 Monthly Zoom circles with the entire cohort

  • 🌺 A mentorship care package delivered to you!

  • 🌚 All Moonlight Mentees will be connected with one another through a group chat

  • 🌺 Each month has a different theme (the voice, our relationship with our bodies, connection to nature, etc.) that mentees are invited to incorporate into their life a in a way that works for them
