Retreat Philosophy
The Ruby Womb Winter Witches Retreat was curated out of a desire to come together in prayer and explore the intersection of the temple arts, deep Earth wisdom, the pulse of the womb, the truth of the voice, the fragile axis between life and death, and an embodied RECLAMATION of who we BE as wild animals.
What is a witch?
“Witch” was a label of condemnation given by the Roman Catholic & Christian churches to folx of Medieval Europe of all genders who practiced a deep listening to and learning from the cycles and rhythms of the Earth.
The archetype of the witch is one that has been communed with for millennia across all cultures and is known by many names in many languages.
Witches were the ones who knew how to tap into SOURCE— the god goddess goddex I AM— in any given moment.
The ones who fed their sexual pleasure as an embodied prayer of divine reverence.
The ones hunted for the way they listened to the plants, danced with their immense power, and opened their vessels to the river of life.
The way that WE are choosing to come together NOW as humans dedicated to the awakening of the planet, the re-wilding of our animal bodies and the the re-awakening of our erotic life-force energy would have gotten our ancestors killed.
And in many parts of the world, humans are STILL killed for the way they listen to life itself.
To unite in PRAYER and PLAY and CURIOSITY with a willingness to FEEL uncomfortable emotions and be WITNESSED in the most tender pearls of our being-ness at this moment in time on Earth is a massive act of RECLAMATION in and of itself.
In the process of reclamation we will move through during this retreat, I invite you to explore your relationship to the archetype of “witch,” feeling into the terminology and identity that resonates for you.
Who is this retreat designed for?
We welcome those who want to LEAN IN to their connection to their body, their sexuality, their voice, their relationship with death, their shadow, their pleasure, and their voice.
This retreat welcomes all those who are either cis-gendered women, assigned/assumed female at birth non-binary individuals, & female identified humans (meaning– yes– trans women we welcome you wholeheartedly into this circle!)
If you are a transwoman who does not have a physical womb, we ask that you come open to exploring your connection to your etheric womb (low-belly, sacral chakra, intuitive power center), the womb of the mother, and the womb of the Earth.
In the spirit of co-creating a space for both physical womb-bearers (cis-gendered & non-binary) AND those without a physical womb who choose to identify with & embody the feminine archetype, this retreat intentionally chooses to not include cis-gendered men, or assigned/assumed male at birth nonbinary folx.
If this is you, check out His WOMB or sign up for our Newletter below 👇 to receive updates on offerings inclusive of all genders.
❁This retreat also WARMLY welcomes all BIPOC folx into the circle. ❁
If you’re wondering if this space is right for you, let’s have a conversation.

Ruby Womb was one of the most profound experiences of my life. Anna holds such a safe space for women to be in their fullest feminine expression and shares potent emotional release tools. During this retreat, I was able to create such a divine connection and reclamation of my mind, body, and womb space, as well as feel the freedom to be in my full aliveness surrounded by sisters and Mama Earth. The sisterhood that was cultivated in just a weekend has been one of the strongest connections of my life. It was such an honor to be able to celebrate women in their rewiliding and their breathtaking creative expressions. Anna and Ruby Womb helped me find my voice, my wild, my safety, and my softness.

Anna’s Ruby Womb Retreat brought me back to a state of remembrance. Remembrance of the power of connecting with Pacha Mamma, returning to Her, remembering where we came from, remembering our true nature, remembering the sacredness of the earth, of our bodies, of our wombs, of our blood, of our pleasure. Teaching us that pleasure is accessible all the time, and can be found in any moment if we just slow down and be present, take time to connect with what is around us, and to this vessel that we inhabit.
Anna created such a safe, sacred container that allowed me to trust in my own primal expression, my own wildness and fully surrender and drop deep into every experience with playful curiosity. She holds such embodied wisdom and passion for her work that was felt in every word she spoke and every embodiment practice she shared. I continue to work with these practices today and I look forward to the next time I get to share space with Anna.
